Tasmania Tour Day 8 (05/05/2011)

I woke up with a little cold and my nose was running, my head burning and the brain is dancing a Tango. I hoped it will get better during the day as the cup of tea didn’t help at all this time. It might be the constant weather change (from cold to warm, from wet to dry). Let’s keep going and keeping up the good mood was my motto for today.
We arrived in a small village called Ross and had a walking tour through it. After we had a nice coffee and bought our lunch we drove to the Wineglass Bay.

When we arrived at Wineglass Bay we had an amazing view. First we headed to the lookout which was a good exercise walk. We decided to head for the beach which was a little bit more exhausting, but it was downwards. The most exhausting part was awaiting us when we headed back to the meeting point; it took approximately an hour to return. My legs were shaking at the end…but it was so worth it because now I have another happy place :) I even took the happy place with me in form of a video, which I am sharing of course:

All in all the tour took us 4 hours and we were happy to head towards our accommodation in Bicheno. The girls and I got together again for some nice dinner out. We enjoyed a really nice three course meal (well that was only me…).

We will head off again tomorrow morning, my last day on the tour, and I will now shut down my netbook and socialise :)
